The Whitaker Foundation, under the high patronage of the Lyncean Academy, was established in 1975 in order to promote the growth of cultural activities in Sicily, especially the study of the Phoenician-Punic civilization. It’s based in Palermo at Villa Malfitano in Via Dante 167.
